Welcome to my website. I am a registered architect working as a sole practitioner in Fleet, Hampshire. I have over 10 years’ experience in practice in London, Belfast and Dublin on schemes ranging from individual houses and refurbishments, to primary schools, offices and large housing developments. I am fully conversant with Revit and have significant experience of all work stages from initial concept design, planning documentation to detail design and on-site construction.

I have also had experience working on a voluntary basis with local councils to revitalise derelict parts of our urban realm.  I began this in Belfast, with the Council’s Planning Department, helping put together proposals to revitalise derelict parts of the city and building rapport with local community groups with whom which we had numerous design sessions. I engaged in similar exercises in Kilburn in London and Rochester in Kent where I presented ideas to local community groups to improve some derelict local pedestrian paths and the riverside area respectively.

For me, building design is best guided by a clear and simple idea that can be appreciated by architects as well as the casual observer.  I consider design as a playful exploration, informed both by site issues and a questioning of the program.  I find this exploratory process often leads to new discoveries and highlights previously unseen relationships and potentially new and delightful ways to organise space.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like my involvement in a project. Thank you.
