This rear extension provides additional living space to an open plan living area and opens up the space to the garden. A linear rooflight separates the old from the new and provides natural light to the middle of the space.

Two new bedrooms are also proposed for the first floor. The scheme received planning approval in 2022 and is due to start on site in 2023.

This project involved the provision of an additional floor to a top floor apartment in a Conservation area adjacent to Hampstead Heath in London. The project required consultation with neighbours and careful negotiation with Camden Council Planning to create a sensitive but modern design. Initial feasibility studies were undertaken which were followed by outline drawings and construction detail information.

Crookham War Memorial Hall is a popular local venue used by the community of Fleet and Church Crookham for a range of community events. This proposal provides a new and welcoming entrance as well as additional hall space and a cafe area. The proposal also involves the reorganisation and modernisation of the existing halls with the provision of new toilet facilities and additional storage, office and kitchen areas. The roof form mirrors that of the smaller of the two halls allowing the original Memorial Hall to have the pre-eminence in this new arrangement. The scheme received Planning Approval in May 2024.

The new living and kitchen area at the rear protrudes into the expansive garden with large framed windows to enjoy the views. New bedrooms are proposed at first floor and in the roof area. The scheme is currently in Planning.

This extension to a detached residence in Fleet, Hampshire increases the size of the living and dining area and opens it up to the garden. It also provides an ensuite and dressing room to the master bedroom at first floor. The dark coloured brick of the new areas wrap around and contrast with the red brick of the existing house.

Situated on a hill on the edge of the city of Bath and enjoying expansive views across the city, this project transformed a dated property by opening up and reconfiguring the internal spaces and creating an open plan ground floor living area. New bedrooms have also been provided at first floor to accommodate a growing family. The front of the house has benefitted from new materials giving it balance and depth fitting for its scenic setting.

This project involved the extension and refurbishment of an existing bungalow in Strood, Kent. The building forms the end piece on a Victorian terrace. The design plays with the brick form, subtly shifting parts in or out to express key features, such as an overhang to provide shelter at the entrance or a raised part of the roof to define the master bedroom.
